Coaching gymnastics for 14 years was a coach at Milton Keynes Gym for nine years, where he got his qualification women’s artistic level 3 club coach, and fully qualified first aider. Gary has also mentored a number of coaches to achieve their qualifications in women’s artistic from level 1 to level 3
Gary was mentored by some of the top coaches in the country Vladimir Prodobin International performance coach in tumbling and women’s artistic.
Also stunt qualified in trampolining and gymnastics, where he has taught parkour (free running), to teenagers and adults. Gary has also coached gymnastics to a number of people who went on in careers as professional stunt people that now work on top action packed films.
Achievements: Tumbling took 5 gymnasts to regional tumbling finals which achieved 1st, 2nd, and two 3rd places. This resulted in them competing at the national finals where they took 2nd and 5th placing. Since moving to Kent, In November 2009 entered south east region floor and vault competition and took 2nd and 3rd places.
Though the biggest achievement to date is setting up Kestrel Gymnastics academy, none of this would have been possible without the support and dedication of the gymnast’s parents and Bodiam Manor School.
