Squad Development
Girls from our Pre-School and Recreational classes that show promise within the discipline will be handpicked to join this group. The girls selected into this group can range from the ages of 4 years to 6 years of age. This group is considered to be a Trial Group which will Train for up to 4 hours a week.
Petite Squad
Girls in this Group are to be picked from our Squad Development group. This group will Train from 10 - 12 hours a week in preparation for Competitive Gymnastics at Regional and Compulsory Level. These gymnasts will remain in this Group until approximately 8 years old.
Junior Squad
Gymnasts will move into the Junior Squad from the Petite Squad. Training hours will Range from 12 – 15 hours a week. They will take part in Women’s Artistic Competitions at Various levels. These Gymnasts will continue in this Group until approximately 11 Years old
Senior Squad
Gymnasts in this group would have worked through our pathway with hopes to continue their Competitive Gymnastics journey. Training will now start to suit the individual needs of the gymnast and will range from 12 – 15+ hours a week. They will take part in Women’s Artistic Competitions with the ambitions of the Highest Levels of entry.

For local schools, we host specialised P.E lessons. These classes invite your school into our fully equipped facility for 1 hour sessions. These sessions enable students to learn recreational gymnastics and gain essential core skills. These classes are built for up to 30 participants of both primary and secondary ages. (During term time only)

Tumbling is a truly breath-taking type of gymnastics. It's all about somersaults, flips and twists - and linking them together, one right after the other. If you've already got a bit of gymnastics experience, it's easy to get started with tumbling (not to mention a whole lot of fun).

Whether your child already enjoys bouncing on your garden trampoline or wishes for a fun way to get fit, you’ll find a lot to love about Trampolining. Firstly, you’ll child will learn to maintain rhythm while bouncing as well as simple aerial tricks. Our Club provides a safe, friendly environment with professional coaches who will nurture their keen sprit. We offer classes to beginners as well as experienced individuals. We also deliver dedicated disability classes to willing participants, these sessions are a great way to keep fit and encourage motor and social skills.
TeenGym classes are transitional classes aimed at gymnasts between the ages of 14 – 17 years old. These classes shut down the idea of being too old to train in gymnastics and help transfer up into adult gymnastics. These gymnasts will have the opportunity to train 3 – 6 hours a week.
Freestyle gymnastics is the term adopted by British Gymnastics to describe a combination of activities such as Parkour, free running and urban gymnastics. These classes provide the opportunity for participants to come and practice skills from any gymnastics discipline they wish in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. This is a semi-structured class in which you are allowed full access to our gym. To be more accessible to younger Freestyle enthusiasts we offer an earlier session for 13 - 17 year olds (Teen Freestyle) as well as a later session for those aged 18+ (Adult Freestyle). Qualified coaches will supervise the class and always be around to lend a helping hand.
This loosely structured class is suitable for all ability’s aged between 18 – 60. The session starts with a warm up and a run through of basic skills but mostly gives you the freedom to explore the gym on your own time. Our qualified coach will always be available to lend a helping hand.
At Kestrel we offer dedicated classes to willing participants with disabilities. Our coaches will adapt to provide the best learning environment for each individual. In these classes they will work in small groups around the gym, engaging with other participants and learning basic gymnastic skills. (During term time only)
